The first sketch of this page had Cynthia looking a little more whiny than determined in that bottom panel. She’s not really a complainer. She sees every setback as an obstacle to overcome, which normally works in her favor, but can sometimes be bad since she doesn’t know how to take no for an answer and sometimes no is the only answer.
