Ian works at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and that building is The Kraemer Family Library, which can also be seen on the very first page of The Ghost Dog (you can see the clock tower from above in the third panel). You can’t drive up on that side though; that circular path is a walking path not meant for cars, but it made for a better panel if they could drive right up to the front, so I ignored that detail.
I’ve never been the UCCS, but I’ve looked at a lot of photos of this library for the comic so you get some fun facts.
